Defence IQ is pleased to announce Directed Energy Systems 2013. The 10th Annual event in the series will be held on 5th – 7th March 2013 in London.
Building on the success of its predecessors, Directed Energy Systems 2013 will bring together all of the key sectors in the development of Directed Energy Systems, including; Research and Development, Engineering, Major Contractors and Military Program Leaders.
Directed Energy Systems 2013 will continue to build and expand upon the key issue of moving Directed Energy technology out of the laboratory and into the field, for both lethal and non-lethal systems. Underpinning this discussion will be major development updates from leading programs in Europe and the United States.
Conference themes include:
- Major development updates from leading programs in Europe and the United States
- Counter-Direct Energy (featuring for the first time in the Directed Energy Series)
- Developments in microwave and laser technology including fibre lasers and HPM antennas
- HPM threats to infrastructure and the human body
- Power generation
Beyond these themes, the event will introduce increased networking opportunities and discussion time to allow knowledge exchange and best practice sharing amongst a usually closed international community.
